The SP90 if used outdoors is intended to be installed in an external housing similar to what would be required for a HPS bulb. (Our other lights are fully waterproof and require no housing.) It does not require any modification to the voltage (85 - 265 VAC).

This light uses only 28Watts and produces almost no heat. Very little light is wasted because the lenses efficiently focus the light into a rectangular pattern.
